Your app data stays outside Petrisys by design.
This statement explains Petrisys’s no-collection approach for application user data, what happens when you intentionally connect third-party services, and when a written NDA is required.
Petrisys application-data commitment: Petrisys applications are designed not to collect user data for Petrisys. If the data never reaches Petrisys, Petrisys cannot sell it, profile it, mine it, disclose it in the ordinary course, or recover it for you.
1. No Petrisys collection of application user data
Unless an app-specific notice expressly says otherwise, Petrisys applications are designed so Petrisys Inc. does not receive or store personal information, documents, prompts, application content, usage histories or other user-generated data through the application.
This statement addresses collection by Petrisys. It does not make promises on behalf of device manufacturers, operating systems, app stores, internet providers or third-party services that you choose to use.
2. Local and customer-controlled data
Information stored only on your device, your network, your tenant, your server, or another environment you control remains under your control. You are responsible for its security, backups, permissions, retention and deletion.
Because Petrisys does not possess that data, Petrisys may be unable to restore lost data, respond to requests concerning data it never received, or recover content after deletion or device failure.
3. No sale, Petrisys ad tracking or profiling
Petrisys does not sell application user data because the applications are designed not to collect it. Unless an app-specific notice says otherwise, Petrisys applications are not designed to create Petrisys advertising profiles, perform cross-app behavioural tracking for Petrisys, or monetize user activity data.
4. User-directed third-party integrations
A Petrisys application may allow you to connect a third-party API, AI model, cloud service, database, identity provider or other system. If you configure or request such a connection, information may be transmitted directly or indirectly to that provider to perform the requested function.
That transmission is user-directed processing and the third-party provider's own contract and privacy terms apply. Review them before sending sensitive or regulated information.
5. Support and information you choose to send
If you voluntarily send Petrisys a screenshot, log, document, sample data, email, bug report or other support material, Petrisys receives that material because you chose to provide it. Send only information necessary for the request and remove sensitive information where practical.
Petrisys may use voluntarily provided support material to investigate and answer the request and may retain it for reasonable support, security, dispute and recordkeeping purposes.
6. Disclosure and legal requests
Petrisys does not ordinarily have application user data to disclose because its applications are designed not to collect that data. Information Petrisys actually possesses—such as business correspondence or support material voluntarily provided—may be disclosed with consent, to service providers acting for Petrisys, or where Petrisys is required or permitted to do so by applicable law.
No company can lawfully promise never to comply with a valid legal obligation. This statement therefore does not prevent disclosures that are legally required.
7. Business confidentiality and NDAs
This Data & Confidentiality Statement is a privacy commitment; it is not a mutual or unilateral non-disclosure agreement for business discussions.
Unsolicited ideas, project descriptions, proposals, source code, trade secrets or other information sent to Petrisys are not automatically treated as contractually confidential merely because they are marked confidential or sent through a contact channel. If contractual confidentiality is required, both parties should sign a written NDA or services agreement before sensitive information is disclosed.
8. Security boundary
A no-collection architecture reduces the amount of user information under Petrisys control, but it does not eliminate risks on the user's device, network, connected accounts or third-party services. Users are responsible for appropriate device security, access controls, backups and third-party configuration.
9. Questions
Questions about app data handling or confidentiality can be sent to office@petrisys.com.
