Privacy by design, with no Petrisys app user-data collection.
Petrisys applications are designed not to collect user data. This policy explains that commitment and the limited situations in which Petrisys may receive information outside an application.
Plain-language summary: Petrisys software applications are designed so Petrisys Inc. does not collect user data through the application. The website and direct communications are different: if you email us or intentionally submit information, Petrisys receives what you send. Hosting, app-store, operating-system or third-party service providers may also process technical information under their own policies.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Petrisys Inc. ("Petrisys," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with Petrisys software applications, this website, and direct communications with Petrisys.
Where an individual application displays an app-specific privacy notice, that notice supplements this Policy and controls for that application if it expressly states different data practices.
2. Petrisys applications: no Petrisys user-data collection
Petrisys applications are designed not to collect, transmit to Petrisys, store on Petrisys systems, sell, rent, profile, or monetize personal information or user-generated content through the application.
Unless an application-specific notice says otherwise, Petrisys applications do not include Petrisys-operated advertising trackers, behavioural profiling, or Petrisys-operated analytics designed to identify an individual user.
Data created or stored locally by an application remains under the user's control. Petrisys generally cannot access, recover, restore, or delete information that never leaves the user's device or environment.
3. Website, email and information you intentionally provide
This static website does not currently use a Petrisys analytics or advertising script and the demonstration contact form does not transmit entries. If Petrisys later enables a contact form, account feature, analytics tool, or similar function, this Policy should be updated before or when that feature is introduced.
If you contact Petrisys by email, request support, enter into a business relationship, or otherwise intentionally provide information, Petrisys may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, business contact details and message content.
Web hosting, content delivery, security, email or network providers may automatically process routine technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, device/browser information and request logs. Those providers may act under their own terms and privacy practices.
4. Third-party services and user-directed integrations
Some Petrisys applications may allow you to connect to or intentionally send information to a third-party service that you select, configure, authenticate with, or request the application to use. For example, an application may interact with a cloud, API, AI model, storage or authentication provider.
When information is sent to a third party at your direction, the third party's terms and privacy practices apply to its handling of that information. Petrisys does not control independent third parties and does not make their privacy commitments for them.
App stores, operating systems and device platforms may also collect information independently of Petrisys.
5. How Petrisys uses or discloses information it actually receives
For information voluntarily provided to Petrisys outside the applications, Petrisys may use it to respond to requests, provide support, administer business relationships, protect systems and legal rights, comply with law, and maintain reasonable business records.
Petrisys does not sell personal information. Petrisys may disclose information it actually possesses to service providers acting on its behalf, with consent, in a corporate transaction subject to applicable safeguards, or when required or permitted by law.
6. Retention
Because Petrisys applications are designed not to collect user data, Petrisys ordinarily has no application user data to retain. Information intentionally provided through email, support or business communications may be retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, legitimate recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, or legal obligations.
7. Security
Petrisys uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to information under its control. No system, network, email service or storage mechanism can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for securing their own devices, credentials, backups and third-party accounts used with Petrisys applications.
8. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about personal information Petrisys actually holds about you, ask for correction, or raise a privacy concern. Where Petrisys does not possess application data, there may be no application data for Petrisys to access, export or delete.
Privacy requests may be sent to office@petrisys.com. We may need reasonable information to verify a request before responding.
9. Children
Petrisys applications are not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the applications are designed not to collect user data, Petrisys generally does not receive age information through the applications. Any app specifically directed to children may include additional notices where required.
10. Changes to this Policy
Petrisys may update this Policy to reflect changes in its applications, website, legal obligations or business practices. The updated version will show a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
